Shaw hadn’t updated it’s navigation in a very long time, and found some areas of the site (especially those buried within secondary navigation) were getting very little traffic. We decided to conduct a remote moderated study with users, testing several new redesigns of the nav and gauge how easily users were able to find specific menu items, the ease of navigation and how they interpreted different design patterns.
